I like to support women in business but mostly I like to support women encouraging other women to be their best.
Debbie Majella created and founded Door of Youth Skin Care Range (I’ve been using them for over 10 years – I love them). She built the business from the ground up.
Debbie has always focused on the natural beauty of women which, in the age of botox and lip fillers is an admirable thing.
Debbie has kindly shared her story and is offering you a couple of gifts if you feel like you need a little more self-love, self-care and a little selfishness.
Guest Spot – Self-Love, Self-Care and a Little Selfish
Are you the nurturing kind? Nurturing is a great quality but while nurturing others have you neglected yourself? If so, you could have fallen into the trap of self-sacrifice – always putting others needs before yourself. I know how it feels to have an empty love tank and the constant struggle of believing that I am worthy or being there for everyone all the time, am I on the right path, do people like me, am I good enough, why do others have it easy.
I discovered in January 2013 that I was a victim of self-sacrifice and was spiralling down into self-doubt and destruction. My marriage was coming to an end, and my confidence was nil.
One day I woke up and said enough is enough Debbie, it is time to become the best version of me. I was first introduced to a self-esteem mind set in my mid-twenties, so I started reflecting on what I had learned and then wrote “Love the True You in 21 days” and started my journey of to become a Woman of Persistence.
Since 2013 it has been a journey of faith in my ability to keep moving forward. Now in 2022 I am a “Woman of Persistence” stepping up each day and becoming a mentor for woman from all walks of life to become the best version of herself.
To start my days, I would step out of bed and as my feet touched the ground, I would say “today is a new day and new beginning’s”. I look in the mirror and speak out loud my personal affirmations with strength and conviction. If I was triggered by a negative memory throughout the day, I would stand tall with hands on my hips and say my affirmations again. This gave me the strength to keep moving forward to becoming a Woman of Persistence.
Now is the time to design the blueprint for 2023 and be the best version of YOU! Will you allow me to be your self-love, self-care, and a little selfish mentor?
