1. Do you ever get really excited about things then fail to follow through?
Or plan on changing something you do but kind of forget about it after a while?
How about big dreams for the future, a career path, a family, saving the world?
Then what you might want to do is write your Future Self an email. Imagine how much fun it would be to get an email in a year’s time, in 5 years or 10, reminding you of all the things you thought were important. Of all the dreams you had.
I have a lot of people saying things like “I just want to get back myself.”
If you write yourself an email you can be reminded of who you were straight from the horses mouth.
Super cool.
There’s quite a few websites that do this for you. Futureme.org is the first one that came up. It has anonymous letters you can read so you can get an idea of what to do and you can specify when you receive the email. Maybe on your birthday. There are plenty of others so check them out of you think this would be fun.
2. We all love doing tests that tell us about who we are. Where I’m about to send you has LOADS of tests you can do on all sorts of things like strengths, gratitude, optimism, happiness, grit and a host of other things. These are all positive qualities to have and it’s fun to know where we stand on these things.
If you’re a bit low on some then that gives an opportunity to do some stuff to improve on them. You might even ask your future self if they got better at being grateful or happy or in using their strengths.
It will ask you to sign up but don’t balk at that. I have never received an email from them and have never been hassled.

Enjoy!
